StreetPlate's free Chili Heat Scale compares peppers by the middle of each published Scoville range, Street Food by Country names the dishes worth traveling for, and the Street Food Budget Calculator prices a trip with one meal price and the same number of days in every city. None of them knows the heat you have already eaten, and a trip whose cities differ comes out wrong. The Street Food Trip Plan joins them. It reads the whole range: the heat scale says a habanero is 42.9 times a jalapeño, and across both ranges any one habanero can be 12.5 to 140 times it. It sets your ceiling from the bottom of a pepper you have eaten and enjoyed, and marks every dish on your list Within, Overlaps or Above, with how to order it. It prices each city on its own: an example 12-day, three-city trip typed in with plain averages is $276, city by city $321, and one flat $23 a day leaves $138 for the last city's $228. It gives each city its own allowance, prices a food tour in days of eating, and spreads an overspent day over the days left. The worked figures are examples, not prices we observed, and every one is computed by the site's own tools. Scoville figures are ranges that vary by plant. It gives no cooking, storage or health advice (for traveler's health, a travel clinic or CDC Travelers' Health), and it never plans superhot peppers, extracts or eating challenges, which can cause medical emergencies and are never for children.
